OSCATOWN LONDON TOUR 2014 - DAY 7

The last day of our tour...

After a group breakfast at home...


...and a bit of a stretch...



...the ladies headed off to a Pilates class.


After the class we all met up at a local bakery...


...then walked up Primrose Hill for some spectacular views of London city, and a birthday cake for the birthday boy!!



Time for a group picture!!






Then back down the hill to...





...stop at a stall to eat some delicious felafel wraps...



...and on to the pub (again!!)







We drank Pimms, wheatbeer and everyone tried some fine Scotch whiskey!!


We jumped on the tube and crossed London...





...onto one of the shorter section of tube line...



...to Brixton Market for some Jamaican patties...





...some West Indian drinks...


...some unusual vegetables...


...and some great retro goodies!



Back to our apartment for the last time to pick up the cases and onto the tube to the airport.

OSCATOWN LONDON TOUR 2014 - DAY 6

Up bright and early for our second run...




...my team stopped for photos on Waterloo Bridge...




...then on to the South Bank for my second route...


...through the OXO building...


...under some bridges...




...and back across the river on the Millenium Bridge...


...to St Paul's Cathedral.


It was too much for some...


...but after a quick jog through Smithfields Meat Market...



...we were heading home...


...and stretch!!

We jumped onto a train to Kingston in south west London...


...to the pier...


...and onto the boat to Hampton Court





We arrived at the palace...


...strolled the grounds...


...met a strange costumed man...


...enjoyed the architecture...


...and the costume hire...





...the through the palace to the gardens.






Behind the palace is a great little pub, which serves traditional English food...

Pie and Mash!!

Apple Crumble and Custard!!!


Then we went back into the palace grounds to tackle the maze...


...fell asleep on the train home and...


...went to see Matilda the Musical (which is absolutely amazing!!!)
